McMaster announces "Stand Up for Seniors" tour

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Republican Candidate for Lt. Governor Henry McMaster will be traveling the State on a "Stand Up for Seniors" tour to share his vision for the S.C. Office on Aging and how the State can improve services to our rapidly growing population of senior citizens.

McMaster, a former S.C. Attorney General, says part of his plan is to assist the growing senior population by reducing their tax burden, cracking down on predators who exploit the elderly, mobilizing non-profit resources, modernizing seniors centers, and placing a renewed focus on retirement planning.

Tuesday, September 16, 9:30 AM - Visit to the Senior Center at Highland Park, 917 Standard Street, Rock Hill, S.C.

Wednesday, September 17, 10:00 AM - Attend the Lt. Governor’s Council on Aging quarterly meeting, Lt. Governor's Office on Aging, 1301 Gervais Street, Suite 350, Columbia, S.C.

Wednesday, September 17, 11:00 AM - McMaster will take questions from the media, Lt. Governor's Office on Aging, 1301 Gervais Street, Suite 350, Columbia, S.C.

Wednesday, September 17, 1:30 PM - McMaster will speak to the 16th Annual Fall session of the South Carolina Silver Haired Legislature, Seawell's, 1125 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, S.C.
